We just got photos during this last exhibit of the Wonders
of the World while visiting Dinosaur Island Clark. It was a very limited
display but it was interesting to see. These are small replicas of the actual
wonders of the world. #ThisisOurPhilippines
At Dinosaurs Island part
of the attractions are these dancing dinosaurs. They were a little frightening
to some of the younger viewers, but for the most part it was all in fun.
Matthew and Megan were not very happy with this part of the adventure! #ThisisOurPhilippines
Dinosaurs Island is a
fun little adventure for dino-lovers and kids! It comes complete with a tour
guide that walks you through the park and explains the different dinosaurs to
you. It is a good place to take pictures with the dinosaurs and the kids should
enjoy that. #ThisisOurPhilippines
Air Force City is the area that used to be U.S. held Clark
Air Force Base. Shortly after the eruption of Mount Pinatubo the base was
evacuated and turned over to the Philippine government. Many of the facilities
are still around and have been identified on the outside as to their original
occupant. It's a historic reminder of what once was.
We visited a small park there that had several displays of
old Filipino aircraft. It was not a well-maintained park, but none the less we
got to see and take pictures right next to the aircraft. It could be a lot
nicer is it was regularly maintained. #ThisisOurPhilippines
