Christmas
caroling is still a fun way to spend the evenings leading up to Christmas day
in the Philippines. People of all ages will stop by your gate to entertain you
with a Christmas song. Depending on your location, these could be sung in
English, Tagalog or in our case the local dialect of Ilocano. After their
performance, usually they will receive a small monetary gift of a few pesos.

Matthew’s 8^th
birthday and we are celebrating! First the Moms have to have their party. Then
it is off to MacDonald’s to pick up 50 meals! Although a little late getting it

As we continue our build of the hollow block smoker, we had to fabricate a lid. We used ½ inch ply wood with a sheet metal flashing to reflect the heat. Almost ready for business now!  #ThisisOurPhilippines
